Has Barcelona offended the god of La Liga player of the month award?

I don't know much about Spanish gods, but I can tell you that the one in charge of La Liga player of the month awards just don't like Barcelona players.

Twenty months and counting and no Barcelona player is yet to win the award. This makes me wonder if there are certain sacrifices that has to be made to the said god that Barcelona feel that is beneath them. Was it one of those "eye hurting" suits that Lionel Messi wears to award ceremonies or does it have to with the fact that they will definitely win enough trophies at the end of the season so "trivial" awards like player of the month shouldn't bother them?

One player scored six goals in October alone with four of those goals coming in a single match.
Another scored five goals in the same month with a hat-trick in one of the games
Then there was another that scored three goals in the whole of October.

Let's say u were on the board of the award committee who would you choose?
Mortal logic would tell you it has to be at least the one with the most goals and/or the one whose team is high up the table, right?
Well, that doesn't apply to the said god who overlooked the first two players and anointed the third one as the player of the month.
One would wonder why but you shouldn't wonder anymore. The first two that missed out did so because they were simply Barcelona players (Neymar and Suarez respectively)

The winner was Eibar’s Borja Baston.
 Borja Baston
Three goals in one month? Suarez probably scores that on a bad day
