Not many people know about the Fantasy Premier League despite it's growing popularity all over the world. I actually got to give it a try just before the season began and I must say that it's quite awesome.
Fantasy Premier League (FPL) is just one major way to prove how much you know about each player in the Premier League. Different footy sites have got theirs. All are the same with slight differences when it comes to awarding points and prizes. Not to confuse myself much seeing that I am still sort of a newbie to it, I've decided to stick to the one from the official site of the English Premier League.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Go to http://fantasy.premierleague.com and create a profile. You will be given a virtual transfer kitty of £100M (If only it wasn't virtual though). You will then get to buy 15 players of ur choice for different positions. That means your first IX with 4 subs for each position. You get to choose your team each week before the match day. Points are awarded for players that scored, assisted, saved PK (GK) etc. You get more points if your captain or Vice captain scores so choose wisely. Points are also deducted for red cards and yellow cards. You can create your own league or join already existing league of 19 teams per league to make it more exciting. You get to compete against people from all over the world and get VIP tickets to 2 games and spend 7 days on an all expense paid trip to the UK. If you ever get stuck, contact me or click here.
